Canadian jazz guitarist and composer Ross Morgan is based in his hometown of Ottawa. Ross first discovered his love of jazz on his 18th birthday when he was given Ed Bickert's live album “At The Garden Party.” Ross' debut 2022 release, "Migration," strives to preserve the energy of a live concert in an intimate venue. This EP showcases his unique voice as an artist, drawing inspiration from legendary guitarists such as Wes Montgomery, Pat Martino, and Canadian folk singer Stan Rogers.

Ross has performed with the Ottawa Jazz Orchestra and Ed Lister’s Prime Rib Big Band. In 2016, Ross performed with the JUNO award-winning saxophonist Pat Labarbera. Ross has been heard on CBC’s Saturday Night Jazz with Laila Biali and in 2024 Ross interviewed jazz legend and 3-time Grammy winner bassist Ron Carter. Ross has a Bachelor of Music from Humber Polytechnic where he studied with Jocelyn Gould and Ted Quinlan.

Ross has quickly become a sought-after musician in the Canadian jazz scene. With his talent and dedication, he will surely make a lasting impact on the world of new music.
