2026 Summer Ottawa Jazz Festival Ticketing FAQ

Please note: All tickets and passes are final sale and non-refundable or exchangeable. However, tickets and passes may be upgraded to a higher tier (subject to availability, and by paying the difference in price) by contacting our box office.

Full Festival Passes

We offer four types of full festival passes to the 2026 Summer Ottawa Jazz Festival:

  • VIP
  • Premium
  • General Admission
  • Youth
  • Full festival passes include entry to all shows in Confederation Park, including the Main Stage and the Elgin St. Stage
  • Passes are transferable, day to day
  • Some pass types offer both a digital or physical option; please choose the correct one at checkout
  • Physical passes include an embedded RFID chip for entry scanning
  • Lost or damaged physical passes may be replaced at the on-site box office for $10
  • Physical passes will be available for pickup in May (email notification will be sent)
  • Digital passes are sent via email as a QR code PDF and scanned at entry

Day Passes

We offer four types of day passes:

  • Premium
  • Spotlight
  • General Admission
  • Youth
  • Day passes do not include access to shows at the National Arts Centre
  • All day passes provide General Admission access to both stages in Confederation Park
  • Premium Day Passes include guaranteed access to the covered Premium Lounge with seating, prime views, and a private bar
  • Spotlight Day Passes include guaranteed reserved access close to the stage (first come, first admitted)
  • GA Day Passes allow you to sit, stand, or bring a blanket or lawn chair
  • Youth Day Passes (ages 11–21) include GA access at a discounted rate (quantities may be limited)

NAC Admission for Passholders

  • VIP Full Festival Passholders receive guaranteed entry to NAC shows if they arrive at least 15 minutes early
  • Premium Full Festival Passholders may access last-minute seating if available after single ticket holders
  • No NAC admission for other ticket or pass types (GA, Youth, Media, Vendor, etc.)

Children and Youth

  • Children 10 and under receive free General Admission at Confederation Park when accompanied by a paid adult (some exceptions may apply)
  • Youth ages 11–21 may purchase discounted Youth Day or Full Festival Passes for GA access at Confederation Park
  • All children attending NAC shows must have a valid ticket

Seating

  • Main Stage General Admission does not include seating; folding chairs or blankets are welcome
  • Main Stage includes both standing and seated zones
  • Elgin St. Stage offers flexible seating for daytime shows and mixed seating/standing for evening shows
  • NAC seating is first come, first seated, except Studio front rows reserved for VIPs

Latecomers and Show Start Times

  • Latecomers may not be accommodated; arrive at least 15 minutes early
  • Doors typically open 30 minutes prior to show start times
  • Main Stage doors open approximately 30 minutes before the opening act
  • Seeing an 8:30pm headliner? Arrive early and enjoy the opening act to save your seat

Special needs and differently abled customers

  • Those who require a companion to attend the festival with them will receive complimentary General Admission access to Confederation Park
  • Please notify the volunteer scanner at the gates of your need for a companion and your companion will receive a wristband free of charge for the day
  • You DO NOT need to contact us in advance to take advantage of this benefit. Our volunteers scanning tickets at the gates will be more than happy to asisst
  • We do not offer complimentary access to Ottawa Jazz Festival shows at the National Arts Centre. Each person in your party must have a ticket to attend these shows
