The Prime Rib Big Band has been a staple of the Ottawa jazz scene since 2017. Their unique brand of Big Band Jazz, Soul and Groove has left a mark on many. The band blends influences of Mingus, Ellington and Basie alongside more modern touches including hints of SF Jazz collective and Roy Hargrove. The band has a very successful monthly residency at Ottawa's 'Irene's Pub' where the lineups stretch out the door! Come and see what the fuss is about!
