Montreal-born electric bassist / composer Marc Decho has established himself as an incredibly versatile and creative artist on the Canadian music scene. Marc appears on a plethora of recordings ranging from Jazz, Latin Jazz, Funk, Fusion, Experimental and beyond. Marc has maintained an impressive career as a sideman and bassist for over a decade performing with long list of Canadian/International artists. Decho leads his own quartet and is a longstanding member of the legendary Cuban pianist Miguel De Armas (NG La Banda, Manolito Simonet) and his Latin Jazz Quartet.
In March of 2023, Marc released his debut album called "Aaaaum" under the guise of the Marc Decho Quartet. Featuring - GRAMMY-nominated and Juno Award-winning alto saxophonist Luis Deniz (rinsethealgorithm, Hilario Duran, Roberto Occhipinti, David Vireilles). Pianist, composer and producer Jeremy Ledbetter (David Rudder, Jeremy Ledbetter Trio, Canefire, Andy Narrell, Eliana Cuevas) and Grammy, Latin Grammy and Juno nominated drummer and producer Marito Marques (Jorge Pardo, Gregoire Maret, Mino Cinelu, Munir Hossn).
Mixing and mastering by two time Grammy Award winning (4 time nominated for best engineered album) Helik Hadar (Quincy Jones, Herbie Hancock, Joni Mitchell, Wayne Shorter, Mike Stern, Madelaine Peyroux).
